In Thailand, firefly is sometimes believed to be the spirit of a dead person. It can usually be seen around where "Lampoo" tree (Sonneratia caseolaris (L.) Engl.) grows. This kind of tree is hardly seen these days and firefly is even rare. Firefly often drifts in the pitch-black and quiet area as if it is the guardian of silence. Experiencing the firefly dance is kind of memorable and a sacred moment.

For firefly effect, I just dropped yellow with the point-tipped brush onto dark area when the water-shine of the dark color is almost faded. Keep adding water drop 2-3 times before the paint becomes dry.
