This costume of Mary I looks really solemn. I believe that the small ermine can remit the seriousness of this dress. I like it when black comes together with gold. It implies the deepest wisdom in eastern philosophy.

They look really rubbish, as this series was my first attempt to paint watercolor illustrations, so I don't want to display them on dA. :blushes: Thanks for your comment anyway.

I noticed the different coloring style, but I still find them beautiful! :)

This one has inspired me to work with black and gold. You did a beautiful job. Rich texture, design, and simple artistic rendering all worked together to make it uniquely yours.

I like wisdom as the topic of art. I have a "Lady Wisdom".

My screen saver is something I made with the words from a Christian proverb: "Wisdom will enter your heart and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul." I've used black, purple, deep blue.

Now I'm looking forward to this new idea. Thank you.

The costume and colors seem to suggest a solemn, luxurious wealth. It seems like a good outfit for a rich, religious noblewoman.
